There are two ways that a handicap can be applied to the total number of round won. Even though player B had more rounds won initially, the final result for player A after the handicap would be 14 + 5 = 19, which is greater than 16.
The second type of handicap betting is the exact opposite of the Plus Handicap, instead of adding the amount, you would be subtracting it from the total number of games won instead, this is called Minus Handicap. So, if the amount was 5 and player A had a total of 18 rounds along with the handicap, he would end up with a final result of 13.
Strategies for Handicap Betting
The key considerations for better in handicap betting would be to take a look at the history of the players. They would get an idea of who will be most suitable for winning the most number of rounds and who would be the most ideal selection for a handicap.
